Family-Based Immigrant Visas
- IR-1 Visa - For the spouse of a U.S. Citizen.
- CR-1 Visa - For spouses of U.S. citizens married for less than two years.
- IR-2 Visa - Unmarried children under 21 years of age of U.S. citizens.
- CR-2 Visa - Children of U.S. citizens married for less than two years.
- IR-5 Visa - Parents of U.S. citizens who are at least 21 years old.
- F1 Visa - Unmarried sons and daughters of U.S. citizens and their minor children.
- F2A Visa - Spouses and minor children of permanent residents.
- F2B Visa - Unmarried sons and daughters (21 years of age and older) of permanent residents.
- F3 Visa - Married sons and daughters of U.S. citizens, and their spouses and minor children.
- F4 Visa - Brothers and sisters of U.S. citizens, and their spouses and minor children, provided the U.S. citizens are at least 21 years old.
Employment-Based Immigrant Visas
- EB-1 Visa - Priority workers: individuals with extraordinary ability in arts, sciences, education, business, or athletics; outstanding professors and researchers; multinational managers or executives.
- EB-2 Visa - Professionals with advanced degrees or persons with exceptional ability.
- EB-3 Visa - Skilled workers, professionals, and other workers.
- EB-4 Visa - Special immigrants including religious workers, employees of U.S. foreign service posts, retired employees of international organizations, alien minors who are wards of courts in the United States, and other classes of aliens.
- EB-5 Visa - Immigrant investors who are engaged in a commercial enterprise in the U.S. and plan to create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified U.S. workers.
Special Immigrant Visas
- SI Visa - Certain immigrants who were employed by the U.S. government in Iraq or Afghanistan.
- SQ Visa - Certain translators and interpreters for the U.S. Armed Forces who served in Iraq or Afghanistan.
- SB Visa - Certain immigrant religious workers.
Diversity Immigrant Visa
- DV Visa - For immigrants from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the U.S., commonly referred to as the "Diversity Visa Lottery."
Returning Resident Visas
- SB-1 Visa - For lawful permanent residents who remained outside the U.S. due to circumstances beyond their control and wish to return to live permanently in the U.S.
